New version for 2-Buttons Jam
Since this game already featured a pretty much two-button control scheme, I decided to ship the next batch of improvements for the 2-Buttons Jam.
Look and feel
I finally achieved the more bright-colored aspect I was looking for. Turns out I had made mistakes in the rendering settings.
Controls
I got rid of the manual acceleration which was pointless and only worked on the desktop version anyway; instead, now there is mouse control: hold the mouse like you would a controller and use the two main buttons to turn the snake!
Levels
Some people pointed out, and I agreed, that levels were too short and simple. Well, now they're too hard.
Game logic
Bits and bobs were improved. Notably, to help with aforementioned hard levels, now you regain one life upon completion of a level.
Sound effects
No explanation is needed here really.
